portrait done in pastel

This is a portrait i recently did for somebody. It was done in soft pastels with a solid wood frame 21" by 30".  I framed it myself all for only 180.  Call me at 817-768-0590 if you would like to have any picture

Assignment #4

This one was challenging because it was very hard to control the brush enough to make thin straight lines. Which i guess i didn't do very well because my lines aren't as thin as they should have been.

This one was also very fun to do. I really enjoy working with the custom patch (what I used to make the trees). I only wish I would have never added the flowers sometimes I don't know how to leave well enough alone

I was surprised to see this one came out as good as it did.  I really enjoyed doing this one definitely one of my favorites.

This was kinda of a mess for me so i tried to fix it with some sparkle and it just ended up being a glitter nightmare.

What is this blog for?

I have this blog so I can post my completed works of art. By doing this hopefully I will recieve some constructive criticism and possibly praise. In the process I will get to see the work of others, exposing me to art even when am ot in class. Along the way I look forward to being inspired by some while also inspiring a few people of my own.  In the end I imagine I will walk away with a unique individual style that can appreciated if nothing else.

My first time ever on a blog!!

I sure hope I did this right....(a day later) you know this blog stuff isn't so bad it was super easy to set up. I think I actually kinda like it. If you have any tips for me about my blog please leave me a comment.
